AS World Rivers Day approaches, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Belief is championing the importance of restoring rare chalk river habitats. A celebration of the world’s waterways, the day highlights the various values of our rivers, strives to extend public awareness and encourages improved stewardship of them. There are solely 260 chalk streams on the planet, and Hertfordshire and Middlesex is dwelling to 10% of them.
