As Peter says, we need to work collectively as a nation to save the last 55. "Fishing communities shouldn’t bear the price alone". WWF have set up a web-based petition to help spark consciousness of the scenario. The campaign calls on all of our political leaders to make a commitment this year to save the endangered dolphins. The general goal is to present a petition with not less than 55,000 signatures to political leaders before the final election in September, to allow them to know New Zealanders assume it’s time to take action.
